UPSC Section Officers & Stenographers LDCE 2026: Notification, Eligibility, Exam Date, Apply Online और Preparation Guide
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) ने 16 September 2026 को दो Limited Departmental Competitive Examinations (LDCE) के notices जारी किए हैं — Combined Section Officers’ (Grade-‘B’) LDCE, 2026 और Combined Stenographers’ (Grade-‘B’/Grade-‘I’) LDCE, 2022, 2023 & 2024।
UPSC की official website पर दोनों examinations को active examinations में listed किया गया है। दोनों के लिए online application की last date 06 October 2026, शाम 6:00 बजे है और examination 12 December 2026 से शुरू होकर दो दिनों में आयोजित की जाएगी।

UPSC LDCE क्या होता है?
LDCE का full form Limited Departmental Competitive Examination है। यह examination किसी particular government department, service या cadre में working eligible employees के लिए आयोजित की जाती है। इसलिए इसे सामान्य UPSC recruitment exam की तरह नहीं समझना चाहिए।
इस प्रकार के examination में candidate की eligibility उसके Department, Service/Cadre, Existing post, Required service conditions और Applicable departmental rules के आधार पर तय होती है। इसलिए किसी भी candidate को online application submit करने से पहले अपने departmental eligibility rules check करने चाहिए।
UPSC Section Officers LDCE 2026
Combined Section Officers’ (Grade-‘B’) LDCE, 2026 विभिन्न services में Section Officers’ Grade के लिए आयोजित की जा रही है। Official UPSC notice के अनुसार examination 12 और 13 December 2026 को होगी। Examination के लिए पांच centres दिए गए हैं और vacancies की exact संख्या notification जारी होने के समय संबंधित Cadre Controlling Authorities द्वारा finalise नहीं की गई थी।
Section Officers LDCE 2026: Categories
Candidates को application form में उस Category को clearly indicate करना होगा जिसके लिए वे compete कर रहे हैं।
UPSC LDCE 2026 Vacancy Details
Section Officers’ LDCE के लिए services और categories घोषित की गई हैं, लेकिन official notice में कहा गया है कि विभिन्न categories में कितने candidates select किए जाएंगे, इसकी संख्या उस समय finalised नहीं हुई थी। इसलिए इस recruitment को देखते समय किसी third-party website पर दिखाई गई unofficial vacancy संख्या को final मानने के बजाय UPSC की latest information को प्राथमिकता दें।
UPSC Section Officers & Stenographers LDCE Eligibility 2026
यह examination eligible serving government employees के लिए है। इसका अर्थ है कि सामान्य private-sector candidates या सभी fresh applicants इस examination के लिए automatically eligible नहीं माने जाते।
Section Officers LDCE के लिए examination Department of Personnel and Training द्वारा 16 September 2026 को Gazette में published rules के अनुसार आयोजित की जाएगी। UPSC notice भी candidates को application से पहले official Notice और Rules carefully पढ़ने के लिए कहता है।

Section Officers LDCE 2026: Exam Centres
Candidate को application में centre select करना होगा। UPSC notice के अनुसार centre change की request entertain नहीं की जाएगी। यदि candidate e-Admit Card में दिए गए venue के अलावा किसी अन्य venue पर जाता है, तो उसे examination में बैठने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। Commission आवश्यकता के अनुसार centre या examination date में बदलाव कर सकता है।
UPSC Stenographers LDCE 2026
दूसरी examination का नाम है: Combined Stenographers’ (Grade-‘B’/Grade-‘I’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2022, 2023 & 2024। इस examination का scope examination years 2022, 2023 और 2024 से संबंधित है और यह भी eligible departmental candidates के लिए है।
UPSC की official examination page दोनों LDCE notices को एक ही examination entry के अंतर्गत list करती है। दोनों examinations के लिए notification date 16 September 2026, application closing date 06 October 2026 और examination commencement 12 December 2026 है।

Official Section Officers notice के अनुसार online application 16 September 2026 से 06 October 2026, 6:00 PM तक भरी जा सकती है। Section Officers candidates की printed application prescribed channel से 23 October 2026 तक UPSC को प्राप्त होनी चाहिए।
UPSC LDCE 2026: Application Process
UPSC ने application के लिए नया online application portal इस्तेमाल किया है। Section Officers notice के अनुसार portal में अलग-अलग modules/cards हैं।
UPSC Online Portal खोलें
Visit करें: upsconline.nic.in
Account Creation
सबसे पहले account create करें।
Universal Registration Number (URN)
Universal Registration complete करें — URN candidate के लिए common registration number होता है और lifetime में एक बार register करना होता है।
Common Application Form (CAF)
CAF पूरा करें।
Examination Specific Module
Relevant examination का specific module fill करें — यही module उस particular examination के लिए application number generate करता है।
Documents Upload करें
Application process के दौरान required documents और information submit करें।
Photograph और Live Photograph
Photograph upload करने के साथ CAF भरते समय live photograph capture भी करनी होगी। दोनों images prescribed instructions के अनुसार clear होनी चाहिए।
Signature Upload करें
Plain white paper पर black ink से तीन signatures एक के नीचे एक करके prescribed instructions के अनुसार upload करें।
Final Submission
Final submit करने से पहले सभी details carefully check करें — गलत information future verification में समस्या पैदा कर सकती है।
Section Officers Candidates के लिए Printed Application क्यों Important है?
Section Officers LDCE के candidates को online form भरने के बाद उसका printed copy अपने concerned Ministry/Department को देना होगा। इसके बाद prescribed process के अनुसार Ministry/Department और Cadre Controlling Authority application को verify/forward करेंगे।
UPSC LDCE 2026 Application Fee
Official Section Officers notice application के Examination Specific Module में fees का reference देता है, लेकिन उपलब्ध notice text में कोई अलग standalone fee amount स्पष्ट रूप से नहीं दिया गया है। इसलिए fee की exact applicable information application portal में displayed instructions के अनुसार verify करना उचित है।

Official Section Officers notice में Objective Type Question Papers के लिए negative marking का provision दिया गया है।

UPSC Section Officers LDCE: Selection Process
Section Officers’ LDCE में written examination के साथ Service Record की evaluation भी process का हिस्सा है। UPSC notice के अनुसार written examination और service record evaluation में admission/candidature provisional रहेगा। यदि verification के दौरान candidate eligibility conditions पूरी नहीं करता पाया जाता है, तो candidature cancel की जा सकती है। इसलिए application भरते समय केवल exam preparation ही नहीं, बल्कि service-related documentation को भी सही रखना जरूरी है।
UPSC LDCE: Tie-Breaking Rules
यदि final marks बराबर होते हैं, तो UPSC notice में tie-break के लिए एक क्रम दिया गया है:
- अधिक written total marks
- फिर Paper-II और Paper-III के combined marks
- फिर Paper-III के marks
- फिर candidate की age
- उसके बाद भी tie रहने पर Commission के discretion से resolution
Marks applicable stages पर two decimal places तक round off किए जाते हैं और tie-breaking में rounded marks को consider किया जाता है।
Question Paper और Provisional Answer Key पर Representation
Section Officers LDCE में appeared candidates को question papers और provisional answer keys पर representation देने का opportunity मिलेगा। UPSC notice के अनुसार representation window five days की होगी, जो examination date के 3rd day से शुरू होकर 7th day को शाम 6:00 PM तक रहेगी।
UPSC LDCE 2026: Admit Card
Eligible candidates का e-Admit Card UPSC online system के माध्यम से उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। Section Officers notice के अनुसार e-Admit Card examination से पहले preceding week के last working day पर online download के लिए उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। इसे post से नहीं भेजा जाएगा।

UPSC LDCE: Exam Day Instructions
Face Authentication
सभी candidates के लिए examination venue पर face authentication mandatory है। Candidates को पर्याप्त समय लेकर venue पहुंचना चाहिए।
Entry Timing
Examination शुरू होने से 30 minutes पहले entry बंद हो जाएगी। Entry close होने के बाद candidate को अंदर जाने की अनुमति नहीं होगी।
Mobile Phone और Electronic Items
UPSC notice के अनुसार examination venue पर mobile phone (even switched-off), smart watch, AI-enabled glasses, programmable devices, storage media, camera और Bluetooth devices आदि prohibited हैं। Rule violation पर disciplinary action और future examinations से ban जैसी कार्रवाई हो सकती है।
Identity Card
Candidate को examination के समय official Identity Card और e-Admit Card साथ लेकर जाना होगा।
UPSC Section Officers LDCE 2026: Preparation Strategy
क्योंकि यह departmental examination है, इसलिए preparation को सामान्य competitive exam की तरह केवल general knowledge या objective questions तक सीमित नहीं रखना चाहिए।

शुरुआत daily 30–50 questions से करें। गलत questions की अलग notebook बनाएं — Topic, Mistake और Correct Concept के साथ।
Previous Papers को Study Tool की तरह Use करें
