SSC CGL 2026 recruitment के जरिए लगभग 12,256 Group B और Group C vacancies भरी जानी हैं। Official notification में शुरुआत में Tier 1 का schedule August-September 2026 tentative बताया गया था, जिसे अब updated examination schedule के तहत 30 September से 30 October 2026 किया गया है।

SSC की original notification में 12,256 tentative vacancies और Tier 2 के लिए December 2026 का tentative schedule दिया गया था।
Tier 1 Exam Date 2026
SSC ने अब Tier 1 examination का updated schedule जारी कर दिया है।
लेटेस्ट reports के अनुसार SSC ने 12 September 2026 को Tier 1 schedule की जानकारी जारी की है।
Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier 1 में कुल 100 Multiple Choice Questions होंगे और कुल 200 marks होंगे।

Official SSC notification के अनुसार Tier 1 में प्रत्येक subject से 25 questions और 50 marks होंगे। Exam की सामान्य duration 1 hour होगी और प्रत्येक subject के लिए 15-minute sectional timer दिया जाएगा।
Tier 1 Subjects
General Intelligence & Reasoning
Verbal और non-verbal reasoning — analogy, similarities and differences, series, coding-decoding, classification, problem solving, observation आदि।
General Awareness
Current affairs के साथ history, geography, polity, economics, science और अन्य important areas।
Quantitative Aptitude
Arithmetic और mathematical concepts — calculation speed और accuracy दोनों जरूरी।
English Comprehension
English language और comprehension। इस section को छोड़कर बाकी questions English और Hindi दोनों में set किए जाते हैं।
Selection Process
SSC CGL selection process में मुख्य रूप से Tier 1 और Tier 2 शामिल हैं।
Tier 1
Tier 1 एक Computer Based Examination है। इसके marks के आधार पर candidates को विभिन्न posts के लिए Tier 2 में shortlist किया जाएगा। Official notification के अनुसार Tier 1 में प्राप्त marks के आधार पर category-wise shortlisting की जाएगी।
Tier 2
SSC CGL 2026 notification के अनुसार Tier 2 का tentative schedule December 2026 है। Tier 2 में Paper-I सभी posts के लिए compulsory है। JSO/Statistical Investigator Grade-II के लिए Paper-II और Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer के लिए Paper-III भी लागू होगा।

ये minimum qualifying marks Tier 1 तथा Tier 2 के Paper-I (Section I, II, III), Paper-II और Paper-III — सभी पर लागू हैं। Final Merit List (FRTA) केवल Tier 2 के overall performance और candidate की post/department preference के आधार पर बनेगी। Selected candidates All India Service Liability (AISL) के अंतर्गत आते हैं, यानी उन्हें भारत में कहीं भी posting स्वीकार करनी होगी।
Tier 2 Exam Pattern
Official notification के अनुसार Tier 2, Paper-I सभी posts के लिए compulsory है और दो sessions में same day आयोजित होगा।

Paper-I — Session-II (15 minutes)
Section-IV: Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) — लगभग 2,000 key depressions की एक passage, duration 15 minutes। DEST सभी posts के लिए mandatory लेकिन qualifying nature का है।

Paper-II और Paper-III दोनों में प्रत्येक गलत answer पर 0.50 marks की negative marking है। Paper-I के सभी Sections अलग-अलग qualify करना mandatory है — DEST (Section-IV) में allowed maximum errors: UR 20%, OBC/EWS 25%, अन्य categories 30% तक।

SSC CGL 2026 recruitment में लगभग 12,256 tentative vacancies हैं। ये vacancies विभिन्न Group B और Group C posts के लिए हैं। Official notification के अनुसार post-wise pay level और age limit इस प्रकार है:

Eligibility
Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2026)
- अधिकांश posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University या equivalent
- Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with 60% marks in Maths at 12th standard, या Statistics as a subject at degree level
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s in Statistics/Maths/Economics/Demography/Population Studies/Operations Research/IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer Applications/Data Science/AI
- Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre): Bachelor’s Degree + Matriculation-level proficiency certificate in the concerned State’s regional/official language
- Desirable (AAO/AAcctO): CA, CMA, CS, M.Com, MBA (Finance) या Masters in Business Economics
Final-year graduation candidates भी apply कर सकते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें 01.08.2026 तक essential qualification पूरी करनी होगी — मात्र result process होना काफी नहीं है, result declare होना जरूरी है।
Nationality
Candidate होना चाहिए Indian citizen, या Nepal/Bhutan का subject, या Pakistan/Burma/Sri Lanka/East African देशों (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) से migrate करके स्थायी रूप से भारत में बसा person of Indian origin। Nepal/Bhutan/migrant candidates के लिए Government of India का eligibility certificate जरूरी होगा।
Border Roads Organization (BRO) के पदों के लिए केवल male candidates eligible हैं।
Age Limit
Age limit post के अनुसार अलग-अलग है — 18-27 years, 18-30 years, 20-30 years और 18-32 years (Junior Statistical Officer)। Age calculation 01 August 2026 के आधार पर की गई है।

Application की original notification dates SSC के official notice में दी गई हैं।
Application Fee
Fee payable: ₹100। Women candidates और SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible candidates को fee से exemption दी गई है। Fee केवल online mode — BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay debit cards से जमा की जा सकती है। Fee एक बार pay होने के बाद refund नहीं होगी।

Correction window में candidate को maximum 2 बार modified application resubmit करने की अनुमति है, और ये charges सभी candidates पर category/gender की परवाह किए बिना लागू होते हैं।
Admit Card 2026 कब आएगा?
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam date जारी होने के बाद candidates को exam city information और admit card से संबंधित updates का इंतजार है। अभी candidates को SSC की official website और संबंधित regional SSC website पर updates check करते रहना चाहिए।
Admit Card में generally candidate की exam date, shift, reporting time, exam centre और महत्वपूर्ण instructions दी जाती हैं। इसलिए केवल social media या unofficial websites पर depend न करें।

जब SSC की तरफ से candidate-specific information जारी होगी, तो candidates अपने registration/login details के माध्यम से examination-related information check कर सकेंगे।

Answer Key
Computer Based Examination के बाद SSC Tentative Answer Key अपनी website पर upload करेगा। Candidates answer key देखकर representation submit कर सकते हैं।
Document Verification (DV)
Document Verification final result declare होने के बाद concerned User Department/Organization द्वारा conduct की जाएगी। DV के समय candidates को ये documents ready रखने चाहिए:
- Matriculation/Secondary Certificate
- Educational Qualification Certificate
- Caste/Category Certificate, if applicable
- PwBD Certificate in required format, if applicable
- ESM: Discharge Certificate/Serving Defence Personnel Certificate, if applicable
- Age relaxation certificate, if applicable
- NOC, if already employed in Government
- 2 passport-size colour photographs + original Photo ID proof
SSC waiting list/reserve list maintain नहीं करता — इसकी जगह Sliding Mechanism के तहत First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) अपनाया जाता है। Post/department preference Online Option Form के जरिए result से पहले लिया जाता है, और एक बार submit होने के बाद वह final तथा irreversible माना जाएगा।
अभी क्या करें?
अब exam में ज्यादा समय नहीं है, इसलिए candidates को preparation को revision + mock test + accuracy के हिसाब से organize करना चाहिए।

SSC CGL Tier 1 में प्रत्येक subject के लिए 15-minute sectional timer है। इसलिए केवल total 60 minutes की practice पर्याप्त नहीं होगी।Negative Marking का ध्यान रखें
