Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2026 यानी Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) भारत सरकार की एक महत्वपूर्ण initiative है, जिसका उद्देश्य युवाओं को leading companies में practical work experience और industry exposure देना है। इस scheme को Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) द्वारा implement किया जाता है।

2026 में PM Internship Scheme में महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव भी किए गए हैं। अब eligible youth की age eligibility को expand किया गया है और 18 से 25 वर्ष तक के युवाओं को opportunities मिल सकती हैं। साथ ही final-year undergraduate और postgraduate students को भी certain conditions के तहत apply करने की अनुमति दी गई है। Current PMIS information के अनुसार interns को minimum ₹9,000 per month financial assistance और ₹6,000 one-time joining/incidentals grant मिलता है।

PM Internship Scheme क्या है?

Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme (PMIS) Government of India की एक paid internship initiative है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं को केवल classroom education तक सीमित न रखकर उन्हें real-life business environment, professional culture और practical work experience देना है।

Scheme को Ministry of Corporate Affairs के माध्यम से implement किया जाता है। इसकी long-term vision देश के युवाओं को industry-ready बनाना और employability improve करना है।

आपके screenshots में जो information दिखाई गई है, उसे समझने का सबसे आसान तरीका यह comparison है — current 2026 expansion और ₹9,000 minimum assistance की जानकारी PIB/MCA updates से supported है।

Eligibility 2026

Eligibility सबसे important part है। यहां एक खास बात ध्यान रखें कि पुराने screenshots में दिखाई गई 21–24 years eligibility पुराने pilot guidelines से संबंधित है। Current 2026 update में eligibility expanded है।

Current Age Limit

18 से 25 वर्ष के eligible youth PMIS opportunities के लिए apply कर सकते हैं, subject to the specific opportunity’s requirements.

Educational Qualification

PM Internship Scheme में अलग-अलग internship opportunities के लिए अलग educational requirements हो सकती हैं। Current PMIS-related government information में opportunities 12th pass, ITI, Diploma और Graduate candidates के लिए भी उपलब्ध बताई गई हैं। Generally candidates की qualification में शामिल हो सकती हैं:

• 10th Pass
• 12th Pass
• ITI
• Polytechnic Diploma
• Graduation
• अन्य prescribed qualification

लेकिन हर internship का eligibility criteria अलग हो सकता है, इसलिए application करते समय particular internship की qualification जरूर check करें।

Final-Year Students के लिए बड़ा Update

अप्रैल 2026 में MCA ने PMIS eligibility को expand किया। अब final-year undergraduate और postgraduate students भी PM Internship Scheme के तहत apply कर सकते हैं, subject to the scheme’s conditions। ऐसे students को application process में अपने educational institution से NOC यानी No Objection Certificate देना होगा। NOC यह confirm करता है कि internship में participation उनकी academic requirements को प्रभावित नहीं करेगा।

यह update उन students के लिए काफी useful है जो graduation/postgraduation complete होने से पहले industry experience लेना चाहते हैं।

कौन Apply नहीं कर सकता?

Original pilot-phase exclusions में कुछ categories को ineligible बताया गया था, जैसे:

• IITs से graduates
• IIMs से graduates
• National Law Universities से graduates
• IISER
• NID
• IIIT
• CA / CMA / CS
• MBBS / BDS
• MBA
• Master’s या higher degree holders
• कुछ existing apprenticeship/internship/training schemes में शामिल candidates
• निर्धारित family income condition से बाहर candidates
• कुछ government employment situations

Stipend कितना है?

यहां सबसे बड़ा update financial assistance को लेकर है। Current 2026 government information के अनुसार selected interns को minimum ₹9,000 per month financial assistance मिलती है।

• Monthly Financial Assistance: ₹9,000 per month minimum
• One-Time Grant: ₹6,000 — joining/incidentals से संबंधित one-time assistance

Duration कितनी है?

Original PMIS framework में internship की duration 12 months रखी गई थी और scheme का focus meaningful workplace exposure पर था। हालांकि 2026 में individual internship opportunities की duration अलग हो सकती है — उदाहरण के लिए SAIL Bhilai की Phase III opportunity में 9-month internship की घोषणा की गई थी।

इसलिए candidate को particular internship listing में duration जरूर check करनी चाहिए।

PMIS के तहत अलग-अलग industries में internship opportunities उपलब्ध हो सकती हैं। Major sectors में शामिल हैं:

कौन-कौन से Documents लग सकते हैं?

Application में requirements internship और candidate profile के अनुसार बदल सकती हैं। Generally candidates को निम्न details/documents ready रखने चाहिए:

• Aadhaar Card

• Educational Certificate/Marksheet
• ITI/Diploma Certificate, if applicable

Last Date 2026

PM Internship Scheme के लिए एक single universal last date मानना सही नहीं है, क्योंकि current phase में companies internship opportunities post कर रही हैं और individual opportunities की application timeline अलग हो सकती है।

उदाहरण के तौर पर 2026 में SAIL Bhilai की 160 internship opportunities के लिए application window 14 April 2026 से 13 May 2026 तक थी। इसलिए जिस specific internship के लिए apply करना चाहते हैं उसकी listing में दी गई closing date देखें।

Selection Process

PMIS traditional government job जैसा recruitment exam नहीं है। Generally process इस तरह समझा जा सकता है:

Particular internship के लिए company अपनी eligibility और selection requirements रख सकती है। इसलिए PMIS को Sarkari Job नहीं बल्कि Government-supported paid internship opportunity के रूप में समझना चाहिए।

क्या Job मिलेगी?

PM Internship Scheme internship है, permanent government job नहीं। इसका primary objective युवाओं को practical experience और employability skills देना है।

हालांकि recent government information में यह भी बताया गया है कि कुछ interns को internship के बाद participating companies में full-time roles के offers मिले हैं। लेकिन full-time job guaranteed नहीं है।
