परिचय

Karnataka Prisons Department Recruitment 2026 के लिए online application process शुरू हो चुका है। Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) ने Karnataka Prisons and Reforms Services Department की ओर से Jailor, Warder, Warder cum Nursing और Instructor Grade-II/Second Grade Teacher सहित कुल 869 base-cadre posts के लिए recruitment notification जारी किया है।

इस recruitment में 576 posts General/Rest-of-State cadre और 293 posts Kalyana Karnataka cadre के लिए हैं। Applications 19 September 2026 से 15 October 2026 तक online स्वीकार किए जा रहे हैं, जबकि fee payment की अंतिम तारीख 16 October 2026 है।

इस भर्ती की written competitive examination 21 November 2026 को निर्धारित है। Uploaded notice में भी यही exam date और 3:00 PM से 4:30 PM का समय दिया गया है।

869 Vacancies को समझना जरूरी है

इस recruitment में दो अलग cadre notifications हैं। General/Rest-of-State cadre में 576 posts (Warder 560, Instructor Grade-II/2nd Grade Teacher 16) और Kalyana Karnataka cadre में 293 posts (Jailor 5, Warder 275, Warder cum Nursing 5, Instructor Grade-II/2nd Grade Teacher 8) हैं। Grand Total: 576 + 293 = 869 Posts।

Post-wise Salary

इसलिए application से पहले candidate को अपनी qualification और desired post दोनों को match करना चाहिए।

Eligibility 2026

Educational qualification post के अनुसार अलग-अलग है।

1. Jailor

Recognized University से Bachelor’s Degree की requirement दी गई है। इस post की vacancies Kalyana Karnataka cadre में 5 हैं।

2. Warder

Minimum qualification: SSLC / 10th Pass। यह इस recruitment की सबसे बड़ी vacancy category है — General/Rest-of-State cadre में 560 और Kalyana Karnataka cadre में 275 Warder posts हैं।

3. Instructor Grade-II / Second Grade Teacher

SSLC/10th Pass + संबंधित field में Government-recognized Diploma/Certificate की requirement दी गई है। Relevant trade/qualification notification में निर्धारित conditions के अनुसार होनी चाहिए।

4. Warder cum Nursing

SSLC/10th Pass + First Aid Certificate की requirement uploaded notice में दी गई है। यह post Kalyana Karnataka cadre में 5 vacancies के साथ है।

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 31 Years for General Merit
• Maximum Age: 33 Years for specified reserved categories

Age relaxation Government rules के अनुसार applicable होगी। Important: Age calculation की exact cut-off condition के लिए जिस cadre की notification के तहत application कर रहे हैं, उसी detailed notification को final reference मानें।

Application Fee

Fee payment की अंतिम तारीख 16 October 2026 है।

Important Dates

PST और Endurance Test का detailed schedule बाद में KEA/Prisons Department द्वारा जारी किया जा सकता है।

Selection Process 2026

इस recruitment में selection केवल written exam के आधार पर पूरा नहीं होगा।

Current notification coverage के अनुसार written examination के बाद shortlisted candidates को physical stages के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। कुछ sources में written exam से physical stage के लिए 1:5 shortlist ratio भी reported है।

Written Exam 2026

Uploaded notice में written examination की date 21 November 2026 और time 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM दिया गया है — यानी examination duration 1 hour 30 minutes है।

Current recruitment information में written examination को 100 questions और 100 marks का बताया गया है। एक current source 0.25 negative marking भी report करता है। क्योंकि दोनों cadres की detailed instructions अलग हो सकती हैं, इसलिए candidate को अपने application cadre की official notification में exam pattern और marking scheme को final मानना चाहिए।

अगर आप Warder, Jailor या Instructor post के लिए apply कर रहे हैं, तो preparation को सिर्फ written exam तक सीमित न रखें।
